KAILU creates handmade silk-filled bedding defined by contemporary design, natural materials, and centuries-old craftsmanship. Founded in 2018 and named after the Mandarin word 开路 / kailu (“open road”), the brand draws inspiration from cultural heritage and exploration, with each piece proudly handmade by artisans in the Yangtze River Delta. These villages, once known for outfitting emperors, are where history and craftsmanship are woven into every piece.
