Nopal Jacket in Hand Embroidered Black Canvas Linen

This jacket is hand embroidered by a skilled artisan embroiderer in Mallorca, Spain. Mallorcan embroidery was very well known until the 90's and this jacket is part of a project by the Mallorcan government to bring back the local tradition. Contemporary designers have been asked to use local embroidery so that this skill will not disappear from the island. Olive branches are embroidered to the sleeves. Long sleeve, hip length, linen canvas jacket with a relaxed cut, draped collar and pockets in sides. Dropped shoulder and fully lined. Interior drawstring at waist.
