This handcrafted Byzantine chainmaille bracelet is entirely handmade, starting as a straight piece of 14K gold fill wire. The wire is then coiled, cut into rings, and woven together by hand, creating a timeless design with roots in ancient history. The Byzantine weave pattern dates back centuries and is one of the oldest chainmaille designs in history, thought to date back as far as 300 BC.
